Some people have experienced issues with viewing a video event or rental properly from their TV's built-in web browser as they are limited in what they support. There are a few workarounds we recommend:
You can use a streaming device like Apple TV, Chromecast, or another airplay/casting enabled device to plug into your TV and stream the event from your computer or mobile device.
If you do not have an airplay or casting device, you can check to see if your Smart TV is airplay enabled HERE. Some TVs require you to enable this within the settings.
Otherwise, you can plug in your computer to your TV via an HDMI cable or Display-Port. When you select the correct source on your TV, your computer screen should display automatically. If it doesn’t display, you might need to configure your settings - how to do this is entirely dependent on what model and year TV you have. We also advise that you make sure your device's audio output is set to the TV to ensure you get audio in the right place.
We recommend using our video test page to test your devices before the event to ensure compatibility.
Please note: OS devices cannot Cast or AirPlay directly from the Chrome web browser per Apple Restrictions. AirPlay is available in the Safari browser on iOS to Apple TV & other airplay-supported devices.
