How Do I Download Music Directly to My iPhone or iPad?

  • Updated

Important note: Apple allows for direct music downloads since iOS 13. However, they restrict you from moving music into the native “Music” app.

Depending upon which version of iOS you're on, you will need to use one of the following methods to download your music direct to your device.

Method 1

1. Open the link on your iPhone.
2. Download the MP3 file.
3. Hit "More..."
4. Scroll down and hit "Save to Files."
5. Click "On my iPhone."

Note: Songs will not play continuously. For continuous playback, please download via laptop/desktop and sync to your devices via iTunes.

Note: If you are using the Duck Duck Go browser, you may encounter trouble while trying to download your purchase. For this reason, we recommend using Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari instead.
